‘The Willingness To Move’

Robbie Cavanagh - The Willingness To Move

I’ve done my best in recent months to make readers aware of the words and music of Robbie Cavanagh, a singer-songwriter of considerable talent whose debut album ‘The State of Maine’, released in April 2014, is an absolute cracker.

Robbie now celebrates the release of the first official music video from the album (29th August 2014). The video for the song ‘The Willingness To Move’ features British actress Anna Passey (Hollyoaks), and tells the story of a girl finding closure by returning a case of memories to the place she last saw her father.

The video was written and directed by Robbie and was filmed by Manchester based videographers Tom Rout and Jonny Woodhead.

‘The Willingness To Move’ is the second track from The State Of Maine. Robbie and his band continue to perform around the UK and Europe as part of the promotional campaign for the album. Check out the link below to hear the song and see the video. It’s superb stuff – beautiful and moving.
