Michael, I come here by way of Deep Purple Appreciation Soceity blogsite….I read the excerpt from your book posted on their site and it is uncanny how your thoughts reflect mine exacttly….it is as if you are the scribe of my early experiences in Rock music… listening to .DP Made in Japan almost 40 years ago was the seminal moment in the development of my musical tastes. I look forward to reading your whole book and will soon be ordering a copy. Good work sir! Gary in Jakarta. Indonesia

    • Thanks Gary! Trying to capture something of the ‘shared’ experience of the rock fan was one of my main motivations in writing the book. I hope you will enjoy it – do let me know what you think! Best wishes, Michael

  2. Very cool site, Michael! Great interviews you have, too. Thanks for sharing, and thank you very much for stopping by Travel Oops and liking some of my recent posts! Rock ON!

  3. Hey Mike, great blog you’ve got here! Will have to check out your book too! How come you never mentioned it before!? 😉
